What to Expect
Since orthodontic treatment is spread out over a period of 6-24 months, we want to make sure that your time in our office is enjoyable. We have ongoing contests for all ages and some of these are based on good cooperation, others are just for fun. We feel it is important to stress excellent compliance in order to achieve the very best results in the shortest period of time.
We also pride ourselves on our ability to “run on time”. Simply stated, we take every step we can to insure that we bring our patients back at their scheduled time and finish each appointment on time. We know our families are busy and we respect their time commitment to our office.
We are very proud of our office and the quality of treatment we provide. We wouldn`t be able to do that without the open communication we have with our families and general dentists. We make sure our patients and their families are aware of treatment progression by giving them updates throughout their treatment time and we do the same for their general dentists.
We feel that the most well treated orthodontic case is one where the orthodontist, general dentist, and family are involved.

Most people are not even aware that orthodontics plays a vital role in preventive dentistry today. Good health comes from teeth that are properly aligned. Not only are they beautiful, but they are also easier to clean and maintain.
When teeth are easier to keep clean, there is less chance of periodontal (gum) disease, food impaction, and decay. There is less strain on jaw muscles and joints when the teeth are in their proper position. Even such habits as thumb sucking, grinding of teeth, and tongue thrusting can be reduced or eliminated.
